How to consume Windows Performance Counters data with Quix
The Windows Performance Counters Telegraf plugin collects Windows performance counters, monitoring detailed system and application performance metrics available through Windows Management Instrumentation
Quix is the Python stream processor, and it serves the following purposes:
- Ingest messages from Windows Performance Counters
- Process received messages
- Send transformed data to destination systems (via Quix integrations) so it can be operationalized
- Use data received from Windows Performance Counters to power real-time capabilities
Integration with Windows Performance Counters is achieved via Telegraf using the Quix Telegraf output plugin. This plugin allows Telegraf to collect data from Windows Performance Counters and forward it to Quix for real-time processing, analysis, and integration with downstream systems.
